Toronto’s three time Stylus Award winner Kid Kut in collaboration with IV Play Entertainment and Darling Nicky return to present an evening of music to benefit MusiCounts Canada —

On Thursday, December 8th, 2011 at the Hard Rock Café (259 Yonge Street at Dundas) Kid Kut and fellow music lovers Natalie “IV Play” Powell and Darling Nicky invite you to share in “The Gift of Music”, an event featuring live performances by a star-studded roster of artists that have made an impact on the Canadian music industry, and share his love of music. This A-list event, hosted this year by Canadian Hip-Hop legend Michie “Badgal” Mee, shall feature live performances by Andreena Mill, Divine Brown, Slakah the Beatchild, August Rigo, A-GAME, Rich Kidd, Ms Paige, Shi Wisdom, Omar Lunan, Shaun Boothe, contemporary violinist Yosvani with appearances from several surprise guests. An after party will follow with music by three of Toronto’s top rated DJs: Canada’s Most Versatile – Jester, 2011 Stylus Rated NEXT DJ of the Year DJ Rych Kydd and DJ Ononymous of 105.5 CHRY.

MusiCounts associated with CARAS, is a charity based organization that focuses on supporting music programs in schools across Canada, ensuring that children of all walks of life have access to music education through instrument grants, scholarships and other music initiatives. On September 30, the 2011/2012 Band-Aid grants were revealed with $600,000 will being awarded through 69 grants, in both $5,000 and $10,000 increments, impacting 85 schools across Canada.
