Via TOFLO! Drizzy helps launch a new MTV show called The Seven with a quick interview about his latest tour, the loves of his life, his high school years and a lot more. Sidenote…40 worked with Sade??? CRAZYYYY!!!
It seems that Canadian Hip Hop is a growing international genre that is increasingly implanting itself into the heads of music lovers all over the world. Next to step up to the task is Chase Millyunz, a Toronto based emcee. SirmacTV is proud to bring to you his latest single “It’s On” featuring JD Era and produced by Beat Merchant. As usual, Beat Merchant drums up a snare-filled beat with ominous undertones. The sound isn’t your typical party anthem, as it settles somewhere between club music and street banger. However it mixes beautifully between the two and gives Chase a good foundation. Era hops on for the ride, providing the chorus for the new emcee. – SirmacTV

Visually speaking this ain’t really “there” yet but Blake does his think on it (as per usual). Here’s some real-talk-type-words from Berg in regards to his situation and why he does what he does. I don’t know dude at all but it’s def great to see the realizations he’s made and changes he’s made in his life:
Currently I am preparing to release a mixtape titled Miami Dreaming hosted by Blake Carrington feat JR Mint, Deuce Wonder and Junia-T of Smash Brovaz. To give you a brief background of myself, I was released from Joyceville penitentiary in April 2009 , my last stint in prison after a decade in and out of corrections.
During my time in corrections I decided to change the course of my life, completed my education to a post secondary level in order to provide for my only son who I now raise as a single father. Despite the odds within a year I landed a position in a telematics firm and took my son in, finally beginning the process of giving him the support he needs. Countless times I’ve been told with a record this isn’t possible, well I’m living proof nothing is impossible.
I have also appeared on LeDrew live on Cp24 as a guest to speak on my experiences and the transition I have made in my life. Desperation has caused many to jump in a make shift raft and challenge the elements to escape the poverty and apparent lack of hope. This title represents a parallel between the apparent impossibility of their opposition to the odds and my fight in the face of immeasurable odds. The title Miami Dreaming represents my background as a Haitian Canadian where as many Haitians dream of Miami the nearest coast to “the land of opportunity”.
I have just released the lead video off Miami Dreaming ,Long Live the Hater feat Blake Carrington and would appreciate your support in posting this video as well as my continued future efforts. I have included a bio and link to the video and related content and will keep you in tune as to my upcoming projects as the content builds. Thanks for your time and support of Hip Hop culture.
Guess we missed this a few months ago but like we always say, in today’s Internet world what’s old to one person could be brand new to someone else. There’s just way too much stuff out there to stay up to date with EVERYTHING. Anyways…pretty solid joint from a new artist named Caliph called “Dedicated” produced by Dallas-based producer Izzy The Kid (no relation to Izhe Da Kid lol).
Hosted by Bigg Tigger and featuring a round-table of industry professionals including your boy Boi-1da! Shouts to my girl Izabela from Creamworld Magazine for the heads up!
Boi-1da will appear on a BET special next month. The show discusses the Top 10 rapper of the decade and Boi-1da is one of the panelists.
Even though I don’t think we need to “take it back” or still be saying “yo, we gotta keep real hip-hop alive” and all that, I can still appreciate this. Shouts to Junia-T! Directed by Matt Beecraft.
