Via TOFLO! I’ll let Ro’Shine tell it. Oh, and if you missed Aion’s rendition of “Kiss From A Rose” you need that in your life as well (below).
Aion Clarke (a.k.a. Voyce Alexander) performs renditions of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song”, and Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On?” for the Hiafa Univeristy charity event. Proceeds from the event supported the University of Haifa’s recently established “Peace and Conflict Management Studies program” to nurture a new generation of leaders with the ability to promote more effective and peaceful approaches to conflict resolution.
Expect the video for Aion Clarke’s “Do You Right” to drop this spring!
Beatnick & K-Salaam re-fix U.K. band Keane’s single “Stop For A Minute” featuring K’naan. Peep the original version of the song under the hood too. Shouts to TOFLO!
Erik Flowchild chops it up with Coloredtheories.blogspot.com before his show at MOD Club on May 6th. Good to hear that Flowchild “genuinly just wants to help”. Lol!!! Feel you bruh!
On the afternoon of May 6th 2010 I got the opportunity to get together with up-and-coming Toronto hip Hop artist and a friend of mine ERIK FLOWCHILD to do an interview with him about his past, present and future. Check out part one of the interview where we talked and laughed about different things like 2nd grade love letters, his current project The Chixtape and his apparent magnetism to girls going through romance issues! Brought to you exclusively by me, ONYEKAOYEN, and coloredtheories.blogspot.com.
Drake does his “Closer” reinterpretation (this time with new lyrics) during a performance in San Francisco. That’s Goapele on the right, who joined him on her hometown stage to do the/her song, but whoever filmed this either got tired of holding the camera or doesn’t understand how great it would’ve been for all of us to see the whole thing too (smh, lol).
