Via Jane-Finch.com! Sticky (from Tha Smugglaz) and Killah Keez take a glass-half-full approach to street violence. Off Sticky’s Party Staat Mixtape Volume 1. Nice joint! Also…under the hood is Tha Smugglaz’s video for “Jane Finch Gangsta” which came out pre-Cityonmyback days.
Smile was filmed in Jane and Finch. The song is a tribute to all those who perished in the past because of street violence. Directed by Paul Nguyen.

This is actually a pretty dope idea. P.J. took a sequence from his mixtape that features a few verses back to back and shot some visuals for it. Good idea and relatively simple to execute with some technical knowledge and creativity. If you missed the mixtape the first time, download is below!

Some great exposure for an artist who is a great example of someone who does this whole hip-hop thing for the love! I’ve known General on a professional level for a few years now and although we’ve crossed paths in the past I didn’t know he was also doing some great work in the community. This feature is a good look promo-wise but is also important to shed light on the impact people in the spotlight can have on their community. A simple visit to a school to talk to some kids can go a loooong way…
Anyways, this feature was based around General’s new track “Runaway Slave”. Download for that plus the remix featuring Jordan Croucher are below! Video coming soon…

Sorry, I know these are a little late. Don’t blame me, blame it on the boogie (sorry again, I’m in Jackson 5 mode for the bio tonight lol). We had some trouble with the tapes, then I was in France for a week and now finally everything is up and ready for your viewing pleasure. This was our 2009 wrap-up show featuring guests Jester, Bryan Brock from 1LoveTO.com and Ro’Shine & Flo from TOFLO.com! Above are two clips from the show but you can watch the entire interview/discussion at www.muchmusic.com/otalive! Shouts to Write Just Films for the footage!
