Following the hugely successful solo release of “My Life” and Freedom Writer Collective releases “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” and” Arizona Bay”, along with the release of “No Regrets” (Kardinal Offical, Kim Davis, T.R.A.C.K.S ” Realfreqeuncy New North Album”) there is no question that Frankie Payne has been putting in work. In the midst of all this soulful feel good music, Frankie Payne staying true to his unpredictable nature has decided to take us back to the other side of the spectrum.
“Hard Headed” is an aggressive lyrical assault with an intensity that only Frankie Payne can deliver. With an outside of the box format coupled with intelligent word play and venomously truthful statements Frankie Payne lays down a not so subtle reminder of who he is, what he represents and what he is capable of. Featuring Fire Kid Steenie, Hard Headed blends home grown hip hop with a dance hall sound clash vibes. Over a clever, powerful and original arrangement produced by Nighthawks (Man a Dads, Get Ready, etc.) and co-produced by Big Sproxx (Freedom Writers). Hard Headed is guaranteed to be a breath of Fresh air.

I swear, Jordan is a frikkin’ phenomenon man. How Js are still the freshest sh*t is crazy to me. The whole thing basically just speaks to how great the 90’s were (shouts to the LATE 80’s too lol). And I’m not saying that from an old-bitter-head point of view but more from a yo-no-one’s-surpassed-the-bar-set-in-the-90’s-yet point of view. Kanye might be the only one. Early 50 and Drizzy are candidates in their own ways too. Conversely, many 90’s artists definitely surpassed the bar set by their 80’s counterparts.
Anyways, I digress. Shouts to Fresco and the whole crew mang…

Replayability. When a verse and beat match together and styles are accentuated, that terminology becomes a reality. Toronto Emcee Theo3 goes for the jugular with ARI GOLD, featuring a punchline heavy, meticulously crafted flow laced over a slow brewing, hypnotic banger produced by the much heralded MoSS (Ghostface, Joel Ortiz, Works of Mart productions). Fresh off of a recent audio assault with new tracks hitting the internet at a rapid fire pace, Theo3 adds a dope visual component courtesty of upcoming director Duxx (Concrete Guerilla). Cameos by fellow Freedom Writers Adam Bomb, Tona, Progress and Big Sproxx give the Worldwide audience a glance at the high powered Hip Hop collective that’s shaking up the Canadian marketplace! With a brand new mixtape in the works helmed by legendary NYC DJ Tony Touch, Theo3 is set to saturate the place with a wide variety of laser sharp styles. Watch out for the upcoming album Airplane over one way streets in the Fall of 2011, can’t stop, won’t stop. Let’s MOVE!
