” . . . and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
— Revelation 13:15-17

VeriChip is the only Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved human-implantable radio-frequency identification (RFID) microchip. It is marketed by PositiveID, a subsidiary of Applied Digital Solutions, and it received United States FDA approval in 2004. About twice the length of a dime, the device is typically implanted between the shoulder and elbow area of an individual’s right arm. Once scanned at the proper frequency, the VeriChip responds with a unique 16 digit number which could be then linked with information about the user held on a database for identity verification, medical records access and other uses. The insertion procedure is performed under local anesthetic in a physician’s office.
Certain privacy advocates have raised concerns regarding potential abuse of the VeriChip, with some warning that adoption by governments as a compulsory identification program could lead to erosion of civil liberties. In addition, it has been shown that the VeriChip’s lack of security features makes it susceptible to cloning, which could present a risk of identity theft. The Verichip is already implanted in the body and used for payment. The Mark of the Beast shares many characteristics with the Verichip

Our first visual introduction to poet/writer/blogger Greg Drakes – I’ll let him tell it tho:
Anything I’ve ever loved doing in my life has always been the SCARIEST thing for me to do.
Poetry.
Poetry, is my release. Poetry is my therapy. Poetry is that ear when no one will listen. I once told someone that performing my “therapy” is like turning your skin inside-out. That vulnerability that I’m left with … that vulnerability leaves me exposed, but at the same time… FREE.
This video, is the first I’ve EVER performed, but felt it was necessary. I’ve launched this project entitled Drakes365 in an attempt to get out of my shell and essentially, drop all fears.
Shooting my first video in the busy downtown streets of Toronto is liberating, and a calculated attempt of freeing those fears. Crowds forming, people watching, external distractions, have all been part of my expansion process; my breaking out of my preverbal shell.. Fear is something we all face. Fear something I face. OVERCOMING that fear however …
is what life is all about.

J Wyze drops official and fitting viz for his latest joint, “Sugar Water”. Off his upcoming album Proverbs and Herbs. Produced by his CAT fam, Kolor Brown and directed by his CAT fam, Eklipz. Here’s more from the director:
“When I first heard it automatically I was drawn in and had visuals resonate immediately so it was fitting I was called on to do the video. Shot in Hamilton and Toronto in black & white it was a very laid back and relaxed way of shooting and it allowed for some new techniques for my style. Be on the look out for Proverbs and Herbs I’ve heard it’s development and y’all are in for some amazing music.”
