Jordan Croucher is a name you need to be taking notice of. The Scotia native has been putting in work with the likes of Classified, Spesh-K and J-Bru for a few years now and although he has been doing his solo thing as well I think he’s gonna take things to the next level in 2010! If you’re not familiar with Jordan Croucher here are a few older video links to check out. Shouts to SFA too!

Ahhh, the love/hate relationship with the Internet. Basically this track was leaked to DJs along with the “Poor Boy” remix a couple weeks back BUT it wasn’t supposed to get blogged/tweeted YET. Of course, the way things are now if it gets tweeted once it’s fair game but we still waited on posting it until we were sure they wanted it up. The artwork for the song (via 1loveto) is enough for me to know they’re ready to let this baby go…From Shaun Boothe’s Hip Hop In 3D project coming soon!

Rich Kidd blesses The Bossy Girls with a beat for their demo reel. This was posted on YouTube back in July but it just showed up in the inbox the other day. I mainly wanted to put this up to show love to the Bossy Girls who have been playing a major role behind the scenes as two of the best stylists in the game. Before I got into the music biz I never really understood how being a stylist was an actual job but TRUST ME it’s a full-time gig and takes a lot of talent and networking ability to do it right – and what a difference the right look can make to your music video, photo shoot or performance. Anyways, peep some of the work they’ve done above!
BOSSY BIO:
Together since 2005, these Toronto-based sass mavens have broken out from their humble beginnings manning chairs in high-end salons across the city, to becoming two of Canada’s most recognized ladies in the styling biz. Drawing on their creativity, versatility and no-fear approach to breaking barriers and bending norms, Bossy Girls Vili and Caitlin Wright have turned their talents into industry gold, creating one of the freshest and most sought-after styling houses of the city.
With an aesthetic palette spanning the full spectra of tastes, trends, and styles, Bossy Girls blend their know-how with their intuitive eye for what works, both for you and the image you want to portray. They are a two woman wonder-show of talents who can do everything from costume design to artistic direction, editorial make up to high fashion hair. These women are able to do it all and draw on their wealth of experiences across the artistic board.
Their unbounded creativity and meticulous attention to detail is evidenced in their impressive resume dotted with a diverse array of projects. They have produced numerous fashion shows, directing and coordinating all aspects in both the front and back stage production. They have styled film, editorial shoots, commercials and well over 100 music videos from artists spanning country to rock, hip hop to soul on major record labels, little Indie labels and everything in between.
They’ve captured the essence of an entire era in just a few shots for their period pieces; brought uptown girls downtown with the switch of hat; fused design with off-the-cuff style for fashion forward looks; and have even made the everyday wardrobe something not easily forgotten. They’ve worked with Disney and GM, Lipton’s, TD Canada Trust, Sony, Sennheiser and Danone to Bonne Bell Cosmetics and Bvlgari .The list goes on.
And on.
And on…
Image. Style. Hair. Makeup. Limitless: That’s the Bossy Girls way.

The song is titled “BULLETS (Don’t Have Eyes)” produced by Rich Kidd and features Coyote, Mason Payne, and Junia-T. This song is a gritty approach to making people conscious about gun violence, and making them think twice before pulling the trigger.
