Last Thursday was the launch party for the new Northsidehiphop.ca website. The site launched with an event called T-Dot Pioneers (an exhibit showcasing some of the most important memorabilia in Canadian hip-hop history). From classic flyers, the first record Beat Factory ever put out, to Choclair’s Gold plaque, the exhibit aims to document our hip-hop history while also acting as a launch for the new website. The opening night was last Thursday and was an historic event featuring an interview/discussion with legendary Toronto MC K4CE. Toronto’s hip hop foundation was also in the building including the likes of Ivan Berry, Rumble, Thrust and Mastermind.
On Saturday there was also a panel discussion at the gallery featuring Michie Mee, Lady P, True Daley, Jeni from FLOW, Isis, Tara Muldoon and Danielle Etienne. There will be a next panel discussion on March 27th (hosted by OTA Live) and the exhibit is open until April 18th @ the Toronto Free Gallery (1277 Bloor St. West @ Lansdowne).
Northsidehiphop.ca would like to thank you for being a part of a historic night. The launch of T-Dot Pioneers was an overwhelming success thanks in part to your attendance. We have posted some pictures on northsidehiphop.ca and you can post comments on www.tdotpioneers.blogspot.com.

Thanks to the catalogue of bangers Rich Kidd has amassed over the past year or so (either his track, him featured or just produced), his live show is bound to get a lil’ crazy tonight at Circa. Oh yea, Clipse will be there too!
