I always thought this guy was pretty dope. Didn’t know he was working with Kuya though. Definitely a good look as they’ve been doing their thing in front of and behind the scenes for a while now. To jog your memories, check out this Megacity Classic joint by Kuya – Change My Ways. Back to Jordan Croucher though, I guess JRDN is the new official stage name. Here’s a bit more info about this “Upront” leak:
Hey everyone, here’s a record we wrote for Akon that he passed on and we decided to leak it. But we just wanna let people know that it was catered for him and this is me singing the demo (prod. Kuya). – JRDN
Seen on TOFLO! So after 3 other videos for this track dropped (a Spanish remix, the World Cup edition and the amazing all-star Haiti version) I was still waiting for visuals for the actual original album version. It had to be coming, was just a matter of time. Directed by Nabil Elderkin and featuring a cameo from Nas. I can’t put into words how BIG this song is. Wow.

Be sure to check for Ty and myself as part of the yearly activities (as per usual) but for now, make sure you get your vote on to help determine this year’s nominees!

One of the biggest songs out of the city in recent years gets blessed by Mayhem Morearty on a remix tip. And if you missed Aion‘s cover of “Kiss From A Rose”, peep it below as well!
Anyone that knows me knows that I’m a Big It Up alum which is why I’m extra happy to see them finally get a coveted spot on Queen St. The new boutique is called Brimz and is located at 321 Queen Street West! Shouts to the whole fam for continuing to expand a true Toronto brand.
Check out 1LoveTO for some pics from the launch party last week! Wish I coulda been there, but was out of town…
