Here’s a likkle wrap-up video for FYI’s March showcase held at Harlem Restaurant. The showcase night goes down the last Thursday of every month which coincidentally is tomorrow night (for the month of April) if you want to go check it out. Def a great look for the city to have a monthly night like this where people can get up on stage and just do their thing. I was there for the March edition and it was def a nice vibe. Via TOFLO! Really nice somber/thought-provoking/uplifting track off Distant Relatives even though I have no idea what K’naan is saying in his verse. Anyone have the official translation? In other K’naan news, York students can check him out live at the Kool Haus tomorrow night for a free concert (free for York students only I believe!). Just show up nice and early with your student ID (+ government ID of course).
