Like I always say: If you’re gonna ‘hop on’ someone else’s shit – put the work in, SMASH IT, and make it your own.
Dear Friends & Family:
Bulletproof Monster, the second installment in The Revox Suite , was a challenging experiment. The acapella of Nicki Minaj’s verse from “Monster” is in a vault somewhere so I was forced to use it with Kanye’s beat underneath, which made adding new vocals tricky. I also had to digitally alter La Roux’s “Bulletproof” melody to make it fit the “Monster” beat. Add my revox to that and it feels like I’ve created a musical Frankenstein. Fitting, I think. Enjoy this Bulletproof Monster.

Got some new videos to post from director Marc Andre Debruyne. Here’s the first from Mic Boogie (featuring Mark Holmes from ’80’s super-famous rock band Platinum Blonde). Hook was re-sung (no samples) and the track is off Mic Boogie’s Mr. Boogie project which is dropping this fall.

Tika stays killin’ it! Aion Clarke alone is a no-brainer but Natasha Waterman too??? Jeez. If you’re new you might not actually know about Natasha Waterman so let me just say real quick that she’s one of the jewels this city has produced. She used to be on the live scene a lot more and did that CLASSIC joint with Shaun Boothe (then known as Rikoshay) but has been relatively quiet for the past few years. Should be a really dope night at I&I. Newcomer Rochelle Jordan is on the bill as well. All the details are below!
p.s. This flyer looks like it could be some Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terell album cover lol.

Debut joint and video from a new artist named Stephon Hendricks. Don’t know anything about dude other than that really. Found a behind the scenes clip of the video shoot though where he jumps into lake Ontario lol (under the hood).
Anyways, kinda different that an R&B singer has another R&B singer as a feature. They basically just look like a duo. Don’t know much about Brian Notice either but have heard his name floating around over the past few months…
Track’s produced by Bassline and the video is directed by SilveX.
