It’s remarkable how distracted we can get in this technologically advanced world. So every now and then we need to take a step back and take in what the world has to offer. Sometimes you just have to keep it simple. Remove the sound effects, turn down the bass and just Sit With Me!
RnB • Neo Soul • Electro Soul
An intimate, theatrical and comical night w/ O’Sound, Shi Wisdom, Ron Dias, Brendan Philip & a surprise guest.
Very interested to see what Wolf and the crew bring to the table with this concept show. Lord knows the city’s in need of a model that gets the urban audience to embrace the culture of going to live shows. By that I mean the urban audience should connect with going to see artists perform the way the indie crowd just naturally goes to pubs every week to see new bands perform. Normal scene.

Introducing the New Artist collective “BABYLON WARCHILD“. This group consist of Hip Hop classical Cellist Rumplestiltz, Legitimate from ‘School Of Thought’ and Unknown Mizery from ‘Peep The Revolution’.
The Socio Political messages are delivered in a dark, abstract fashion. The live cello bringing out the emotions in the atmosphere complete the energy of this Trio. Something the Canadian Hip Hop scene, let alone the world has ever seen.
This collective is unique in its construction and all three members bring a unique strentgh to the table. Unknown Mizery being a JUNO nominated artists and well renown underground staple in the Hip Hop and Grassrooted political communities. Legitimate is known for his abilities to write, recite and express the art of hip hop to the truest essence, this has been proven through his many endevours – such as the acclaimed album “Underworld Politics” which charted across The college starts of North America. Finally, Rumplestiltz also known as Rafael Kuerti is a classical cellist who comes from a long family lineage of World renown musicians. Rumplestiltz has performed across the world as a classical cellist and is currently working full time on his childhood passion for the art of hip hop. The Politics, the substance, the experience, the raw talent, the cultivated culture and the elements of live vibrations…BABYLON WARCHILD is the new face of Hip Hop.

I had the pleasure of speaking with another Toronto talent Singer/Songwriter Natasha Waterman (at the weekly Intimate & Interactive event).Natasha recently released her full length album Long Road. Her single All I Wanna Do is definately for the Soul/Jazz music lover. It gives the music for that special night indoors with the one you love by the fire place or under a warm Duvet cover…lol. Okay, I watch too many romance movies but honestly this is a collector’s cd. It’s soulful.
Natasha released Long Road back in December with help from Jazz artist Ty Marquis Smith. Natasha was also invited by Maxwell’s Bassist Sean Ray Michaels to perform in Alabama. As well, was approached by an A&R representative from Universal to compete in a songwriting competition for “Canadian Idol” She won. Natasha’s co-writing credits can be found on records by two “Idol” winners: Kalan Porter’s “219 Days” and Melissa O’Neil’s eponymous release, which featured the single “Speechless.” Natasha repackaged the single, for the album.
