Burna speaks candidly on the pressures of the come up grind over the DMX classic.
Look for his mixtape – “No Introduction Vol.1” – to drop in a bit, with production from among others Bassline, Rich Kidd, Jazzfeezy, and appearances from Sese, Andreena Mill and more.
Always good to hear new music from Erik Flowchild but this time the newness comes at a price to a project a lot of us were looking forward to hearing:
To the fans and skeptics alike:
If you must know, I’m scrapping The Delivery Boy project.
I’m sure artists go through this…forcing themselves to craft something and realize how non-sensical it is (the forcing part). The past few months have been tough for me (as some of you may have noticed). As well as things were looking, things fell apart. Then I fell apart. And all I can do now is start over. It takes a lot for me to admit that things did not go as planned. But I have to. So expect a couple records to surface that were supposed to be on this project … and apart from that, all I can do right now is create and share. This “Never” record should be a good starting point. Looks like I’m hitting the reset button. We’ll see how things go. Enjoy.
As vague as this, I hope it gets the point across. Thank you all.

Vancity’sEbrahim pays homage to one of the sickest hip-hop records to drop in the 9-4.
Got nothing but love for Keith Murray but listening back to him some 15 years later, I can’t help but be reminded of one of my favorite Damon Wayans characters Oswald Bates.
I don’t play video games but I guess part of the deal when you get a song placed on the soundtrack is you also get a character in the game. Pretty dope! Shouts to Burd on the screen caps and for his analysis of the characters lol:
We all know there’s the “Create-A-Player” option in NBA 2K11. But when the makers of 2K11 MAKE YOU!!! Your doing something right in my opinion. And how rare is it to have 2 of Toronto’s dopest rappers, Drake and Promise are both featured on this yearss soundtrack and video game. It was so #epic I had to take it to the blacktop for a 1 on 1 match up.
From my analysis, Drake was much faster and dunks were way more “fancier”. While Promise had a smoother crossover and better pull up j…. FINAL SCORE: Promise 21 – Drake 18
