A pretty dope write-up on a store that helped shape me as a music lover and a Torontonian. Shouts to GridTO writer Evan Davies, all my fellow HMV alum and anyone that came through 333 in its heyday. If you’re interested in the important pieces that helped define The Mega’s 90s/early 2000s urban/hip-hop/indie scenes; and how the digital era (and finally the suits) changed these movements, this is a MUST read.
I present ‘Pitiless Villain’. This track was produced by KIC of Jerrico & KIC. KIC is a producer/MC/Engineer who resides in Cali, so this was a CanaCali connect. KIC has worked with Dannu of the Visionaries and has a project out there called ‘In Motion’, an album with the single of the said name and remix currently out there, along with other musical projects to look for. Thanks, y’all. And look out for more music collabos with myself and KIC. Give them a holla, as well, for any music and/or beats. Hip-Hop is a LIFE form…it’s us!!!! Twins.
Haviah Mighty teams up with bigojfilms once again for the creation, direction and release of her second music video, “Pop Pills.” This tune was produced by Bass Line whose repertoire includes artists such as Lil Scrappy, Jrdn & P. Reign … the song was mixed and mastered by Sunny Diamonds who has done mixes for the likes of Down With Webster, Tory Lanez etc.
