Maestro turns a Canadian hip-hop classic into a great inter-generational collabo performance with k-Os and Shad. What a night. More to come from  CBC’s Hip-Hop Summit celebrations later today.

In case you’re just catching up now, here’s the situation. CBC held this concert on Tuesday night that featured Classified, Maestro, Michie Mee, Kardinal, Ghetto Concept (w/ Infinite!!!), Reema Major, Cadence Weapon, Shad, K’naan, k-os, Saukrates, Red 1 (Rascalz), Choclair, Dream Warriors, Thrust and….I think that’s it. Show definitely had its moments but the impromptu performance of “Northern Touch” at the very end was CLASSSSSSSSSSSIC!

Now, there’s gonna be an hour-long edit of the concert that will be televised (although, we don’t know when yet) but the entire thing will be broadcast today at the hip-hop summit (I believe at 6pm).
