All I know about Over The Rainbow is that women seem to LOVE that store. That’s enough to make me a fan. Pretty cool that Boothe‘ll be there for a meet & greet too. He’ll also be using the promo to launch his latest edition of The Unauthorized Biography series……OPRAH!
Waiting Room is available now too! Get caught up with Shaun Boothe below…
“I’m excited to be working with Over the Rainbow on this event. My Unauthorized Biography Series is really important to me, and it’s great that they’re able to help bring more eyes to the bio series. Plus you can’t go wrong with the fresh clothes.” says Boothe.
Not only has he received inquiries from schools wanting to use his Biographies as educational tools, his work has also be tweeted and blogged about by industry heavyweights Ditty Dirty Money and Kanye West.
Boothe, who has hosted RapCity twice this year and recently was interviewed by Donny Osmond on Toronto’s CP24, is dedicated to his work as an artist and also a champion of promoting the importance of education. Sharing this belief, Over the Rainbow will premiere the seventh installment of his popular Unauthorized Biography Series in support of life-long learning. Delivered in rhyme, the seventh installment communicates the life and legacy of one of the world’s most influential women, Oprah Winfrey. Boothe’s Unauthorized Biography Series videos summarize the life stories of history’s most prolific characters. Past installments have featured rhymes about Bob Marley, James Brown, and Barack Obama.
Tona talks about his contribution to The Real Frequency’s“The New North” album, the state of hip-hop in The Mega and more. Grab what is arguably the best all Toronto hip-hop compilation to ever come out of the city at the links below.
