Episode #14 in TGC’s studio series. Good to see someone in the city finally doing something like this consistently.. I’m really, really hoping to see more artists/producers take the initiative and start presenting themselves in this type of well scripted/conceptualized visual context.. Lord knows there’s so many of you out there that, with the right visual narrative, could really take your potential opportunities for exposure/recognition to another level..
“Sometimes we need days off.” This is something I never used to do til I realized a fatigued creative spirit will get you nowhere, fast.
I’ve been heading down to the water (Lake Ontario) for quite sometime now, to clear my head, grab some fresh air and be amongst community. This has helped open up my creativity and at the same time calm my mind… Take a break once in a while, you deserve it!
As for this track “Slashness”, the melody felt infectious before I even laid down the drums. There’s something real ill about synths and electric guitars clashing. Enjoy!-Sik
