It’s finally here! This is my first time doing a project like this and i’m excited to share it with you. The Snack Pack includes a variety of random remixes I did for tracks from Beyonce, Biggie, Lil Wayne feat. Kanye, Nas & Luda, Lady Gaga and Buju Banton plus a bonus Janet Jackson remix courtesy of DJ Royale! All tracks are clean for radio play and come with intros for easier DJ mixing! Some people call em remixes, or edits or mash-ups (i don’t!), however you choose to label them is fine just as long as you enjoy them. The North Face mixtape will be a gateway for Canadian artist to bridge the gap within the US market. Long time friends Dukez and Shyan have come together to equally share thoughts and ideas about how to stream Canadian music content into the US industry. Shyan Chippy Ellis who is based out of New York City has many connects with different mixtape DJs and decided to contact Gallic Wars to pitch an idea that would change the industry in Canada forever. Dukez is an entrepreneur based out of Toronto, Canada. He has a lot of support within the city of Toronto and when it came time to further push the idea Dukez decided to sit down with Shyan and plot the biggest mixtape take over in Canada. Several conference calls later. They both agreed on the idea, and was giving the green light to make the Mixtape happen
This Mixtape will show the tremendous talent that Canada has to offer and the diversity in both Rap and R&B. Artist in Canada will now have the chance to package their material on a mixtape that will distributed widely in the US.
Gallic Wars has only been in the game for about three years and has created a Big enough Buzz around NY which caught the attention of Shyan and Dukez.
The North Face Mixtape will be hosted by Redway who is based out of Toronto, Ontario. He has been recently working on his solo project New Day, Same Wing, which is scheduled to drop in January of 2010. Once he heard about the idea of the mixtape he was ready to take off.

Spek Won hits us with his mixtape “Preema Donna”. Haven’t peeped it yet (got an exam to study for) but The Real Voyce gives it a note-worthy review and based on the “Hip-Life” joint (which could be one of the most under-exposed T.O. singles/videos of the year) I’m thinking this mixtape is a necessary dld!
