Thing about Belly is that because of his Palestinian roots he can actually pull off joints like this without it seeming/sounding forced. Nice produce from the Boi-1da also.
(Ty EDIT: This director is not our boy Footage …aka Rinku, Write Just Films; this is a completely different dude.. Salute!)
Last year Belly released his mixtape with DJ Smallz Back For the First Time, which built a huge buzz with songs like “Hot Girl” and “Make it Go“. Part of the tape was also a record titled “What a World” produced by Boi 1Da, which garnered some attention and posting online, but didn’t really create a massive buzz. Being that it was one of Belly’s favorite records, he decided to create the visuals for it and release it once again to the online audience. The video was directed by Footage and premiered on WSHH yesterday with rave reviews. The song will be also be featured in Belly’s upcoming mixtape titled Sleepless Nights. More info on that is to follow.
(Ty EDIT: Big shouts to Lola for coming thru with the dj packagery and clearing up the ‘Footage’ mystery, lol!)
Deejays you get the main, instrumental, 8 bar intro version and acapella. And just so you know, it’s only one verse so you’ll have to get creative, lol.

SoSeriuz fam’s Chillaa links with Rashad of Soulja Boy’s SODMG for visuals to “Hyperventilating” plus a freestyle over the Gucci choon.
It may not be your cup of tea but you can’t front on the way this kid’s connecting the industry dots and aligning his brand to generate REAL potential for tangible returns. Almost 7000 hits in a week. And those are being made with REAL consumers (just follow the links from the SODMG community and their facebook page along with Rashad’s own tweets).
SIDEBAR:
It’d be interesting to compare the consumer potential of those hits plus his social media followership against the stats for more ‘established’ artists in this city to see who’s grind is backed by a more critical understanding of the market as opposed to being fueled by social network narcissism. The fairytale/industry-over-populated island our local artists seem to want to exist on (using twitter and facebook as ego boosts) is as dangerous as Keanu’s time spent living in the Matrix.
