The LoveAffair
Sparks flare at end of summer urban concert
TORONTO – Just in time for Labour Day weekend, The Augusta House is being transformed from concert hall to sweet romantic getaway as The LoveAffair takes over. On Thursday, September 2nd, Torontonians’ four month flirt with the sunny season collides with sizzling r&b and hip hop music for an intense sensual experience sure to warm summer lovers’ hearts for one last formal date.
The concert features live performances by emcee duo Smash Brovaz, emcee Ron D, spoken word poet MissG, afro-soul singer KG, poet/emcee Made Wade, and hip hop band the Vibonics, all poised to heat up the stage amid intertwining sets by hip hop, soul, and r&b specialist DJ Soundbwoy. Fashion sponsor JCom will also be in the building selling f-r-e-s-h apparel.
Presented by Def Revolution Musik and Lovehard Blog, the online presence of The LoveAffair goes beyond a flyer façade and website design. In the two weeks leading up to the event, a different performing artist will be featured on the Lovehard blog site, lovehard.ca, giving fans and inquirers a taste beyond the music and into the individuals making The LoveAffair what it is – a personal, exciting, seductive experience with a human touch.
