“Coming Home” marks the first single off of T-West’s upcoming EP “Maybe It’s Okay”. Featuring Troy Black on the hook, the song showcases T-West expressing his love for family, and how we all experience the same sensation when coming home.
T-West is the product of when creativity meets popular music. While maintaining incredible lyricism, he has managed to create a path of his own with his music that appeals to the masses. His last single (“T-Dot State Of Mind”) has received over 55,000 YouTube plays, and has sold over 1,000 copies on iTunes. He has opened for artists such as: Drake, The Diplomats, & More. His music has been featured at places such as: HipHopGame, Much Music, FLOW 93.5 FM, HipHopCanada, etc… and he was recently the spotlight feature of a news article that was published in Metro Newspapers distributed through: Toronto, Calgary, & Halifax.
That feel-good introspective type ish courtesy of Promise. Nice joint as per usual! Get to know this dude. Now managed by the legendary Buckshot (Duck Down) we can only expect some bigger and better things to pop off in 2010. Also below is an unofficial remix of Aion Clarke’s smash “Do You Right” featuring some bars from Promise.
We did this joint few years back but finally met for the first time down at SXSW ’10 which was refreshing.
Death & Taxes is coming out at the end of April and there will be a video for this joint as well.
