Via TOFLO. Still regarded (in mine and Rez’s opinion) as the most slept on album to come out of this city, “Heaven’s Caught On Fire” is now available for free (courtesy of @BiggSoxx).
Honestly it hurts me to put this up cuz there’s no reason why anyone living in Toronto, that claims to ‘love’ this city and its hip-hop movement, should not already own this album (if there was any type of criteria to claim ‘love’ for Toronto’s hip-hop movement, BUYING this album would be one of them).
Indifferent cynics unable to separate hip-hop love from our local hip-hop accomplishments, can point to whatever rationale they want to undermine the importance of this release but given the turn music took around the time this dropped, I can safely say that if this was the last album I bought before ‘intangible love’ became the norm for music lovers/consumers, it was a worthy note to end on.
Ro Deezy hops on “Nothin’ On You” unofficial style.
You know I had to put my Ro Dizziness on this one!!! The mixtape is also in it’s final stages. I took some things off and added songs that I felt fit more of what I am trying to convey on it. Stay Tuned!!!
