Jully Black’s back at it with her third album “Black Book” which drops this Tuesday (November 23rd).
Easily one of the hardest working artists in this city and a shining example of how to properly diversify your brand while still staying true to who you are as a singer.
Black Book’s being capped off with a listening/release shindig Monday at Atelier; peep the evite HERE!

(Watching the Rallyn video again just reinforces how far she’s come and how nuts it was when it dropped; got damn that video brings back memories!)
To say that Swedish electro-soul four-piece Little Dragon are full-fledged underground heroes here in the city still doesn’t quite describe the energy that surged through the always bumping Wrongbar last Wednesday, as the group paid their second visit to the Queen West hotspot this year alone. That energy was not reserved for the headliners alone, however, as a good portion of the paying public turned out in support of hometown vocal powerhouse Saidah Baba Talibah in her opening spot.
While kickin’ it with Boi-1da, the idea to put together a little compilation of his best joints for those that have been sleeping on the kid came to me and 1da gave me his blessing to go ahead, so here it is. 1da has produced a ton of records for Drake, while collaborating with some of the biggest artists worldwide (including Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, Eminem, The Clipse, Dr. Dre, Bun B, Little Brother, Dwele) in the process. This compilation features his biggest records, along with some records from Toronto that you probably haven’t heard featuring the likes of Kardinal Offishall, Saukrates, Rich Kidd, JD Era, King Reign, Famous, Frankie Payne, Andreena Mill, Jack Flawless, Page, & more!
