NEW RHYMING CHEF SERIES DEBUTS
Don’t Sweat the Techniques II
Toronto, ON (December 1, 2011) – The Hip Hop Culinary Guru is back with a series of how-to videos jam packed with rhymes, beats and kitchen techniques! The Rhyming Chef teams up with Canada’s elite Beatboxer, Scott Jackson to produce some high-octane video clips, designed to fine tune your kitchen suave. Each installment delivers insightful tips from knowing when your steak should come off the grill, to understanding which kitchen gadgets that are worth the price tag.
The interstitials will air on AUX TV, Canada’s true music TV station. The videos will also be available on The Rhyming Chef’s YouTube channel starting today, December 1st, with a new clip uploaded every Wednesday @1pm.
“We kept it short, sweet, and unique”, says Philman George aka The Rhyming Chef. “Jackson kicks the beat, I lace it with the lyrics, and it’s all intertwined with culinary fierceness”! Each of these clips are about a minute in length, making them the perfect “share” item for social media platforms. As an added bonus, each video will have a link to a step-by-step photo recipe page, compliments of The Rhyming Chef’s official website – www.therhymingchef.com
In the past we have seen The Rhyming Chef throwing it down on the secluded beaches of Barbuda. However in this series the backdrop is brick wall, studio lights, and art work from Toronto’s legendary graf artist Elicser. “I can’t lie, cooking on the beach was nice”, says The Rhyming Chef, “but filming in Toronto, in a controlled environment, has its benefits as well. Scott Jackson on the beatbox and Elicser’s art as the backdrop helped surround me with raw Hip Hop. I’m sure you will have no problem feeling our energy!” Viewers will also have no trouble hearing the energy, thanks in part to superb sound engineering by Zoé at Afime Arts. Turn the volume way up and enjoy the vibez!
