Shouts to the 400+ that were at The MOD Club last night for our Stylus Nominee Party. Was a dope event overall (if I do say so myself) which featured performances by Mayhem Morearty, Kim Davis, Shaun Boothe, Andreena Mill, Famous, JD Era and Rich Kidd! Shouts to Ill Kidz and Lissa Monet who held down the tables. We also gave away two official Stylus DJ Awards: Rated Next DJ Of The Year which went to DJ Spoonz and Club MC Of The Year which went to the legendary Kid Kut! Here’s his official press release about the award! Congrats and looking forward to seeing everyone tonight at the awards show!

Just like many passionate artists and musicians. Charlie Brown expresses himself through his music. Before he began his journey of becoming Canada’s most requested DJ and promoter he fell in love with music at a early age. Following his brothers footsteps he began studying the history of music and started working on his craft. His Legacy began six years ago as a dream of taking DJ’ing and event planning to its highest level. Once of 3 founding members of Legacy sound he’s faced and overcome adversity and the up’s and downs of the business. Providing people with a unique style of taking people on his musical journey from the old school in the latest of all music genres. Displaying on BET’s Rapcity in da basement and becoming the youngest Canadian DJ to do it as well. His Legacy speaks for itself and it will continue to grow and evolve as he now is working on a mature branding to accompany his style of playing music. This is Legacy of DJ Charlie Brown.
Very creative joint from Classified, detailing a deep story involving a fan named Phil Lacroix that he sold a beat to that tragically passed away in a car accident (R.I.P.). Class discusses how he didn’t have the inspiration to rock the beat initially and finding it after learning about Phil’s death. Taken from Classified’s latest LP, “Self-Explanatory”.
