I went into Where’s Waldo knowing that I needed to confront something in my life. I can’t write my music for everyone, and not everyone is going to love me. I’ve always made my music using an outside eye making sure I wasn’t saying anything my listeners wouldn’t like, or look down upon. Therefore, I haven’t been completely honest. With Where’s Waldo I dug deeper then I ever have before, exposed myself, and said the words I felt in my heart. Whether it was something deep conceptually or just a song having fun, if it was on my mind, I said it. I swear sometimes, I’m not perfect, I don’t always sing on key. These are the things that make this record unique. I am extremely grateful that the artists and producers involved with this provided me a platform to say the things I did, and further our success as a whole. With that being said, come find me. Where’s Waldo?
McCallaman lets off what was to potentially be the original beat for Keshia Chante’s latest single but didn’t make the final cut. Either way, here it is as a ‘remix’.

Can’t say enough about initiatives like this. These guys have put together a track (below), a documentary (above) and a photo documentary all with a high level of production value and style and for no other reason than them being inspired and feeling the need to do it. Kudos amigos. Salute.

Oh, and song features: Proverbs, Ekko Effect, L, pHoenix, Brian Notice & G-Dub (Produced by HWB Productions)
Time Is Now
A collaboration brought forth for the love and acknowledgment of Black History. Geared towards bringing awareness and celebration of Black History Month, “Time Is Now” is a timeless piece drawn from real emotions, real feelings, real facts and the realities that black people face today. Although presented in and for Black History Month, the track is meant for anyone, of any race, culture, nationality to relate and connect to. The track reflects a lesson learned from the past that can be applied to the present in order to impact the future. “Time Is Now” is not only the message in the music but also the message in all of us.
Produced by Heavy Weight Bangers “Time Is Now” is comprised of 3 emcees (Proverbs, Ekko Effect, L) and 2 vocalists (pHoenix, Brian Notice). It features snippets of speeches from Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr. & Tupac Shakur who are all influential in the progression of blacks in North America. The track was engineered by Sunny at Sunny Diamonds studio in Scarborough, Ontario. A BIG thank you to Sunny Diamonds for opening his doors to assist us with this project.
Without documentation there would be no history for us to have and therefore a big thank you also goes to our photographer Julia “Jules” Sapershteyn of MsUnderstood Photography, as well as our videographer s Jason Matos (Jason Matos Photography) & Scott Campbell.
Last but not least, Thank You to the artists who gave their time, commitment, voice & heart to putting this together. You can’t know where you’re going if you don’t know where you’re from, and without a history we will not be remembered.

Pretty sure the radio version of this has two P. Reign verses. Or am I crazy? Anyways….some good ol’ Canadian mainstream exposure for P. Reign. And if you don’t know, here’s the original of this song (shouts to the ’80’s).
