Full show audio from Famous‘ recent sit-down with DJ Manifest on Toronto Morning Live. Hour straight featuring a healthy convo evaluating Famous’ progress thus far, Canada’s music infrastructure, Famous’ mentors and a lot more. Manifest goes in on the 1’s and 2’s as well including a premiere of a new joint called “All Hail the Kid” (prod. by Burd & Keyz).
Interview Introduction:“… Intimate & Interactive is reserved for artists whose brand and collective body of work scream to be peeled back layer by layer. It allows music lovers to not only explore the musicality of an artist, but reveal the personality and drive behind each choice that makes up the strength of their career to date. Usually we do this for an artist of choice, but our current guest beat us to the punch unveiling his journey through a very ambitious project entitled Road To Centre Stage.com
So over the next hour we’re going to get very familiar w/ Ashton Bishop and further understand the man behind the brand FAMOUS including his goals, philosophies and insight on the game as he travels his road toward centre stage…“– Randy ‘DJ Manifest’ Reid (idjmanifest.com).
Just caught wind of Untitled’s official new blog which they launched late 2010. Peep the site for latest updates from the DTP / Def Jam recording artists including new joints (stream only) like the Silk-influenced “Don’t Stop” and their remix with YC. News-wise…they’re officially shooting a video for “Island Girl” so def looking forward to that! Shouts to Kardi.
Was hoping this footage would surface but it’s even better now packaged as part of Aion‘s new viral video series called “My Terms”. This is part one! Shouts to Melanie Fiona too…the two of them brought some soul to the Canadian national anthem (which doesn’t happen too often) this year at All-Star Weekend.
Shad, Promise and Rich Kidd connect for a joint called “Time”. No download, stream only as this is a bonus track of the iTunes version of TSOL. If my vote counts for anything…I vote for the collabo idea below.
Story behind this. I’ve actually got 7-8 songs with Shad recorded I dunno what he wants to do with them but once he’s done workin’ TSOL I’d love to drop a collab project, completely up to him and the people of course.
