TFHOUSE pays visual homage to Tarantino with “Fade” – the first cut off his “Superior Taste” project which dropped earlier today. Devin Wilson on the hook.
Theology 3speaks on promoter ethics with respect to local artists in The Mega.
“At once I was reliant on your bias and buyin what your suppliyn but I’m eyein that now, A front is just a liar actin higher and tryin to keep you silent but I’m ridin back ’round, They call em Pariahs see their desires conspire to keep you minor while they holdin that ground, but all the Messiahs they be dividin are wisened to peep the science so they closin that down”
Here’s the track me and Tweeze recorded last night with Sy Wild on the guitar, fuck disrespectful promoters there will not always be a welcoming handshake if you keep profiting off of artists backs. Be aware and respectful

A short interview I did for Sese which he decided to use as an EPK. We talk the name abbreviaton, YFRWN, his freestyle video campaign last summer and more. Clearly this was done prior to the Flow shakeup and technically they needed to hook us up with either a boom or some lav mics (G-Dot what up?! Lol).
Still think this kid’s last mixtape and overall consistent quality of output is being highly slept on and overlooked by most. If you haven’t checked out his stuff prior to this post, get caught up below.

GuSHee drop their full length joint amidst some healthy internationally attention.
Two producers, one from Brooklyn, NY via Maryland and the other from Toronto via Grenada meet casually on Myspace. The experimental hip hop turntablist Cheldon Paterson, connects with the soulful voiced button pusher Vanese Smith, both citing Portishead, Bjork and Herbert as influences. Creating and performing music under their aliases Pro-Ef and Pursuit Grooves, they decided to bring their specialties together to create a lush rhythmical dreamscape that surrounds you with equal parts love and bump. Mixing live recorded synth arrangements with meticulous drum programming, GuSHee creates an electronic wonderland. These nine tracks on their self titled debut LP will take you to the evening happy hour, the late night cuddle to the morning sunrise and back again.
The last 12 Months is a labor of love that I started last year amidst tons of uncertainty and angst. That coupled with an intense hunger and desire to be heard, that bordered on an over looked middle child in say a household like the Jacksons (Michael was the middle child if you were wondering). When I began recording this project I knew from the outset that I wanted to make statement tracks. I wanted to showcase skill and bring a new element to whatever beat I rhymed on. And since I have the propensity to choose production that people say is “bold” & at times “classic” I made sure that if I was rhyming over “Dead Presidents” or “Just To Get A Rep” I was gonna not only rap my ass off but bring something to the song that made it memorable. The most exciting part about this project is what happens in the next 12 months. I’m excited to share this Mixtape with everyone so it can prepare you, the listener for what’s coming next. The last 12 Months was all about being heard. The next 12 Months I want everyone to LISTEN. – L
