UforChange, the youth organization based in St. James Town is hosting a free 3 day event. Vivacity is a series of events featuring the talents of over 100 youth in performances of dance, music, film and drama and a special art gallery presentation. This 3 day showcase, is a chance for youth to present their work and ideas to the public is a cool hip way.
All events are FREE.

Crazy consistency so far from TGC. Episode 12.
I wanted to create a track that had a sample feel… without sampling.
Logic has some fresh voices sounds, so I built around that. Drums came easy, congos, break-downs, etc. Finding an organ-synth was the perfect fit for a main melody, along with the orchestral strings on the hook. Enjoy!

WORDS: Fundraising Event for Literature for Life
Shining a light on a worthy cause through spoken word, live music and a party dj’d by Juno Award winning artist K-OS
July 21, 2011, Toronto, ON– On July 28th, the Gingerich Group and Literature for Life in partnership with Kobo are hosting a fundraising event and BBQ at CLounge with special guest K-OS (Dj Set), in support of the charity’ efforts in the promotion of literacy among young mothers in marginalized communities.
Of the proceeds raised, 100% of the funds will be donated to Literature for Life and their reading circle programs around the city. Amazing talents, such as Juno award winning K-OS (Dj Set), and author/poet Dwayne Morgan promises an evening of entertainment and awareness about the Literature for Life mission.
Doors open at 8:30pm with a silent auction of highly anticipated items, including: Basketball signed by the Orlando Magic, 2 return tickets from West Jet, one year membership at Flirty Girl Fitness, shoes signed by Patrick Ewing, dinner at Buca Restaurant valued at $250, Spa Pampering, and much more.
The night will feature spoken word performances by poets Dwayne Morgan, Jwyze and Rootz Kizzy, and musical guests Andria Symaniw, Mike Celia and Don Cash followed with a party dj’d by Juno- Award winning artist, K-OS (DJ Set) followed by the Gillespie Brothers.
The Gingerich Group and Literature for Life with Kobo invite Toronto to join them in raising attention, celebrating and supporting the efforts of the teams making a different within our community. Auction items will be available to take home that night and are payable by cash or credit card.

Flawless features Shad with production from Frank Dukes. This joint incites visions of action, James Bond type ish, or some anime type joints. So it was fitting to add some anime visuals to this song, from the classic Ninja Scroll. Frank Dukes had this to say about this song:
“After learning I would be working with Shad, I knew I wanted to bring him into a different zone than what people were accustomed to or might expect from him thus far. I gave him a rugged, aggressive beat that he absolutely bodied, which kind of led to the title of the song.”
