Famous chops it up with Naked Eye Magazine about the city’s music scene and what he’s got cookin’ in the lab. The “I Wanna Know Your Name” remix video drops March 16th!

Famous is one of the city’s emerging talents.  If you haven’t heard about him yet, you must be living under a rock because he has worked his way up to become one of Toronto’s big guns. As an upcoming artist he has also been steadily on his grind looking to be noticed and to win over his “screw-faced” audience.  The Juno-nominee has greatly contributed to the city’s urban culture, both behind the scenes and at the front of the stage.

Famous, how would you compare Toronto’s urban culture now to how it was years ago?

I think there’s an energy being created right now and things are looking like the late 90’s when Kardi, Chocs, Sauks, Baby Blue and them. They had the movement progressing until BET came and Master T left.
