Moni in the Middle of…Scheduling MY TIFF

It’s that time of year again.  The glitz, the glam, the uber fashion and more lavish than life parties. Not to mention, the hordes of celebrities and socialites that will add to the sparkle of this year’s Toronto International Film Festival.  But, along with all the drama, comes one major headache: scheduling the real stars of TIFF, the films themselves.

ANYONE who is a film lover, filmmaker, industry professional or media will no doubtably have sat on the edge of their seats waiting for the 2009 TIFF schedule to be announced, only to then stand in line for hours and be handed a thick catalogue and highlighter forced to hand-select their highlights and must-sees.  After all this they will stand in line all over again to submit their selections and await the results.  With over 300 films and multiple screening locations and dates, it’s sometimes impossible to find the time to work out this schedule and get to see what you really want to see.

Enter tiffr.com

With tiffr you can actually shortlist, organize, share your schedule, ical it, print it whatever.  Its dope and it wasn’t even TIFF that thought of it.  Turns out this totally sanity saving service was brought to you by two dudes that just love movies and want you to, too.  BIG UPS!!

…see you all in the middle of TIFF this year!
