Moni in the Middle of…106 & York TONIGHT!!!
Tonight, the West-End version of Manifesto, 106 & York takes over the Toronto Centre for the Arts. Over 150 young designers, dancers, singers and MC’s invite you to ‘Roc the Runway’ via local celebrity red carpet and then take over the stage, kicking off the show with doors opening at 5pm. Tickets are 90% sold!!!! Check out acts like Famous, Kim Davis, Rich Kidd and more for just $10 bucks!!

Hey Ian, 106 is part of the Manifesto Festival. After the 2007 Festival, various groups from around the city came together at a town hall organized by Manifesto (aimed at getting feedback from partners and the public) to say that they felt like Manifesto needed to be more diverse and representative of all the different urban communities that promote hip hop programming/culture in Toronto and Internationally. In order to ensure that Manifesto did represent everyone, it committed to 3 main events catering to the east (fresh fair), west (106) and central (Nathan Phillips). Hope it makes sense now 🙂 If you didn’t reach 106, you missed OUT!!
