“Past Due” is a very personal song because it is like the culmination of many years of hard work and finally feeling like I’m ready to release music to the general public. “Past Due” touches on many aspects of my life and speaks on angst of wanting my music to be heard. Over the years I have been told to wait and I’ve been told that it’s not my time. So “Past Due” articulates theses sentiments and my unwillingness to accept this. “Past Due” is not a conventional single for a new artist but I felt I needed to make this song to release my frustrations with the state of music in my city and with music in general. “Past Due” is really for anyone whose been told that they couldn’t do something. – L

If you must know, I’m scrapping The Delivery Boy project.
I’m sure artists go through this…forcing themselves to craft something and realize how non-sensical it is (the forcing part). The past few months have been tough for me (as some of you may have noticed). As well as things were looking, things fell apart. Then I fell apart. And all I can do now is start over. It takes a lot for me to admit that things did not go as planned. But I have to. So expect a couple records to surface that were supposed to be on this project … and apart from that, all I can do right now is create and share. This “Never” record should be a good starting point. Looks like I’m hitting the reset button. We’ll see how things go. Enjoy.
