Omar Lunan aka Oh! does what he does over Gyptian’s “Hold Yuh” riddim. This is just a rough, raw recording/mix but Oh!’s rough work basically murks whatever your best friend is working on right now. Need to get familiar with Oh!’s work? Check out his appearances on “Ain’t No Use Pt. II” and “I Wanna Know Your Name” by Famous, he wrote hits like “Valentine 4 Life” by Kim Davis and of course saw some short-lived major label success with his group The Show a few years back. You might also recognize him from Canadian Idol a few years back as well.
Honestly, while we’re talking about Oh! you should really check him out on Kim Davis’ ballad “I Loved You Only” from her Live, Love, Learn mixtape as well! K, I’m done…for now.
I don’t know if this is a preview for something or what (hopefully it is) but it’s the first look at Rich Kidd‘s We On Some Rich Kidd Sh*t (Vol. 4) release party that took place on Thursday night! Shouts to MadRuk Entertainment for the footage.
Thought I’d send you this quick clip of last night @ Rich Kidd’s release party. Instead of shooting your regular show, I took a bit of a different approach. A departure from the status quo, more Avante-garde if anything.
Below is a link for my new single “MY LIFE” featuring SAUKRATES Produced by Tone Mason. BIG, BIG, BIG TUNE!. Soxx went in! I love the subtle mastery of this track courtesy of Tone Mason. I feel like this tune is a reflection of, not just my life, but all of our lives, the way we know them. It’s about choosing wisely and standing by those choices.. Because they are truly yours.
It’s my pleasure to present to you: FRANKIE PAYNE – MY LIFE FT. SAUKRATES PRODUCED BY TONE MASON
So according to Promise this group called REvived was previously signed with Warner. Never heard of them until now though. Nice joint produced by Chozen Williams and written by Promise/Janee Olivia/Roki (who helped pen Agile/Liya’s “Focused”)
Veronica and Carleen, singers, songwriters, producers, and biological sisters, are a duo on the come up. In 2007 REvived began their first project working with close friends Promise, Ray Robinson, Kevin “Kid Kut” Keith, Eternity Records, And EOP studios. A self titled album was released in March 2009 with the first single “Free” produced by Positive Vibes. Throughout their Journey, the duo has shared the stage with the likes of Faith Evans, Jaheim, Coko (of SWV), Jon B, Tye Tribett, and Marvin Winans. Currently the ladies have been hard at work in the studio creating a new fresh sound for their next project.
