The response to the call for submissions was overwhelming, allowing for an impressive and inspiring lineup of performers.  The auditions at Harlem Restaurant gave spectators just a taste of the talent and flair for wordplay these artists have.

UX: SoWhatChuSayin’? will be comprised of an artist showcase / contest, awarding the most talented conscious wordsmiths and raptivist rhymers who can perform the best positive lyrical expressions with swag.  Lending to the excitement is a cash prize, which will be divided between the top 3 finalists. Toronto Argonauts former coach and football legend, Michael “Pinball” Clemons and his foundation have also pledged a donation towards the cash prize.  DJ Linx and Seven:30 from CKLN 88.1FM’s Mixtape Massacre will be in attendance, providing the musical vibe for the event.
