Ironically this pic was shot on the exact day, at the exact moment KRS-One was supposed to be on OTA Live for an OTA Talk interview. And if you were able to zoom out of this pic, you would’ve seen me standing there just shaking my head in disbelief. I had left OTA Live (which was already on the air) and spent an hour trying to convince his people that if he didn’t show up there would be a lot of disappointed listeners; but it just wasn’t gonna happen.
As I stood there watching The Teacher peep Flowchild on the mic I realized, you can schedule a b-boy for an interview, but sometimes you just can’t take the b-boy out of the cypher. A very surreal moment (lol).
