** JRDN RELEASES I AM JRDN NOVEMBER 2 **

“U Can Have It All” in heavy rotation at MuchMusic & shooting up charts across the country!

TORONTO, ON – Canada’s newest R&B star JRDN (aka Jordan Croucher) is excited to announce the release of his official debut album I AM JRDN in stores November 2, 2010, on Kuya Productions/Fontana North. The video for first single “U Can Have it All” was recently added to Heavy rotation at MuchMusic and MuchVibe, was the #1 Most Added single at CHR radio last week (Mediabase) and hit #29 at Top 40 Radio this week, with adds at the top urban and CHR stations across the country.

You may recall the name Jordan Croucher from his collaborations with Juno-nominated Classified a couple years ago. Jordan is back, has shortened the name to JRDN, lengthened his accolades to include opening across Canada for Rihanna and Ne-Yo, hooked up with Grammy-nominated Kuya Productions & Fontana North and is now poised to be Canada’s next international star! The hook-filled single “U Can Have It All” arrived at radio less than a month ago and is already garnering lots of love there and is currently sitting in the iTunes R&B Top 10 along with Usher, Ne-Yo and Trey Songz.

ABOUT JRDN:

It’s been evident that Jordan Croucher aka JRDN had an excellent voice since childhood; however, music took a back seat to basketball in high school and at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and following his hoop dreams eventually led to a year playing professionally in France.

After facing that he’d probably accomplished as much as he could on the court Jordan was offered a job as an outreach worker to mentor at-risk high school students in Halifax, fulfilling another passion of his: young people.

Jordan later re-immersed himself in music by working with Halifax producer Trobiz and recording mix tapes with the groups N.E.P. and Triple Threat and hooking up with multi-Juno Award-nominated artist/producer Classified (Luke Boyd), who produced Croucher’s 2007 debut album, No Dress Code. The album earned Croucher the CBC Galaxie Rising Star prize at the 2007 African Nova Scotian Music Awards show, a nomination for best urban single at the 2008 East Coast Music Awards and an appearance on the CBC Television special, Barenaked East Coast Music. He toured across Canada with the likes of Classified and Maestro and opened for such international stars as Ne-Yo, Snoop Dogg, Rihanna, Nas and Juelz Santana.

In 2008 Jordan was invited and gladly accepted the position of ambassador for Nova Scotia’s D250 campaign, which celebrated 250 years of democracy and encouraged young people to vote.

With Croucher’s undeniable talents as a singer and lyricist, his good looks, the backing of his incredible production and management team Kuya Productions (Nelly, Mase, Ginuwine, Jesse McCartney, Nicole Scherzinger, Akon) and solid citizenry, JRDN is poised to step into the role of Canada’s next international superstar.
