Toronto, ON, March 14, 2011 – Celebrating the uber-talents of Canadian DJ culture, the Stylus Group is thrilled to announce the 6th annual Stylus Awards presented by Pioneer DJ first round voting powered by HP TODAY at 12 noon EST. Log on to www.stylusgroup.ca/votenow and cast your vote for your favourite DJs, artists and producers. Honouring the best in Canadian DJ talent, the Stylus Awards have introduced 6 new categories this year, DJ Remix of the Year, Fan Choice Artist of the Year, Electro DJ of the Year, Artist Mixtape of the Year, Video DJ of the Year, Canadian Pop/Dance Single of the Year, and 7 submission based categories.

* The closing date for VOTING is March 23, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

The 2011 SpinFest and Stylus Awards presented by Pioneer DJ will kick off in Toronto on Friday, May 27th with a full weekend of festivities concluding with the awards show on Monday, May 30th.  SpinFest is a national conference, inclusive of a three city tour and city-specific events.  Tickets will be available via Ticketbreak in April for $40.  Make sure to get your tickets early, as this is a sell-out event every year! The awards show will return to Toronto’s historic seated concert venue, The Queen Elizabeth Theatre – 190 Princes’ Blvd located on the CNE grounds.
